100 degrees and Slams.

Deathly hot.
High Ollie Contest at Vertical Urge and some summer shenanigans.
One of my favorite bands ever is Ween. Something about their energy, their ability to adapt to any genre and take it on perfectly matched with amazing live shows brings me happiness and I’m proud to say that I’ve followed them around the US to experience their presence.
My best bud Brandon Hale just launched his Chicago-centric music blog bangbangslang and wanted a poster to promote Ween’s Friday live show. Since I’ve been doing most of the creative work on the blog Brandon contacted me to come up with something and he shot me a few photos for reference.
After both deciding on the exploding Chicago dog I went my own way with it and Ween was so psyched on it that they’re using it as their poster to promote the show this Friday in the windy city. They were awesome enough to link back to bangbangslang’s blog as well for the support.
So make sure to check out Brandon’s site for music reviews, concert updates and plenty of shenanigans as well as Ween’s website and Facebook fan page for updates on the bands’ going ons.
Thanks for being so brown Ween!
I love Satan just as much as anyone else, but I love ice cream more.
I wish I didn’t want to immediately shit myself and puke as soon as I ate it though.
Here’s a little something I created for all the summer ice cream lovers.
My buddy Taji Ameen went to our mother land this past summer to shed some light on skateboarding in Beirut.
When I was there last summer I met some great dudes and played skate until I almost passed out from the heat.
Skateboarding in Lebanon is both very new and very expensive. My friend Bilal spends over 150 dollars on a used complete. The group of skaters there progress at an amazing rate for the limited spots and resources they have.
If anyone is willing to donate some used parts I will cover the shipping to Lebanon to help these guys out. Please email me @ alextraboulsi@gmail.com
Here’s a video Taji made for Vice about his recent travels.
I call it Frank’s, and it got a nice facelift. Here’s Mr. Gullo himself laying down some wisdom at his pad.
Holy shit.
Massey went to Europe for a few weeks this past month to visit the some beautiful countries and stayed with our good friend Tommy who is stationed in Belgium.
Here is a short video he made while he was there.
The older I get, the less angst I have towards security guards. The fact is, these men and women are making a living and doing their job, some supporting families, some trying to make ends meet and support themselves. There’s a right way and a wrong way to handle any situation. This is obviously the wrong way. So Ray, I’m not going to call and complain about what you did, first of all, because I’m becoming seemingly more jaded, and secondly it seems like your obesity and lack of driving skills are punishment enough.
