Push Skateshop with a video comin in hot and dropping soon!
Here’s Heath’s career retrospective with the few new tricks at the end from Stay Gold.
I know I’ll miss seeing new parts from this dude, but if you’ve read his new Thrasher interview you should agree that it’s his time to bow out on a high note and actually enjoy his life.
(I knew this video would be taken down immediately)
here are a few of Heath’s parts from the past to sooth your aching hearts:
TWS’s Sight Unseen
Emerica’s This is Skateboarding
My good friends on Foundation and some footage from their stays in NC click here
A quick, concise analogy/thoughts on Emerica’s 6-year-in-the-making, release, Stay Gold from someone who will never be as good at skateboarding as those he openly criticizes.

Heath Kirchart is terribly over it, you can just tell. The dude’s been killing the game for 15 + years, and his knight in white satin look not only indicates his 5 new tricks among his career retrospective, but strangely symbolizes his release from the tormenting grip of professional skateboarding. I would rather watch Heath cruise down a hill after a perfect fire-hydrant kick flip than watch Figgy’s part again, bore-city (spoiler alert!) although he does smith grind that gigantic handrail rowley boardslides in Sorry.
Brandon Westgate: End of Story. Easily the best part in the video. Power, style, bag of tricks.
Marquis Preston is the best black man on a handrail. Definitely up there with one of the best parts for sure, style for miles, glad he’s fully on the F now.
Oh Spanky, what to say about your part. The intro was definitely rewound numerous times and I shed my own tears from laughing incessantly. Sure, I get it, Kevin can cry on command, but coupled with his overly marketed ‘emotional’ personality only makes his what looks like Baker 3 version 2 part start out in hilarity and I really couldn’t take the rest of it seriously.
Jaime Tancowny has the best switch heelflip in the game. I enjoyed this part a lot, more diverse than I thought it would be.
This is essentially how Brayden’s part struck me as well as he soars through the street wearing a hand-made “Weed Saves Lives” tank top.
I don’t think Bryan Herman has learned a new trick in 6 years.
Watching Jerry Hsu stress out for 2 minutes made me not want to watch his part, but I’m glad I didn’t turn it off, because as we have all heard by now, there is not one non-switch trick in the bunch, (except for the nollie backtail, but who’s counting). Jerry’s grasshopper style is one of my faves and has been since The Storm. His part doesn’t come close to Bag of Suck, but it was innovative and pretty damn good.
Colin Provost has the best tranny game in the video, (actually may have the only tranny game in the video).
Suski is a powerhouse. Shreds like a man at spots that most West Coaster’s would be afraid to play a game of SKATE at due to the cheese-grater ground. Looks like he’s faking the funk on a few of those landings, but enjoyable to watch non-the-less.
Leo skates gigantic handrails, big surprise. His ender was completely baffling. His post ender looks a lot cooler as a photo, just sayin’.
The Boss kills. I can’t believe a man in his 30′s is not only throwing himself down such gigantic obstacles, but progressing and getting gnarlier and more precise. A well deserved last part for Reynolds.
Templeton, Marrissa, Senn and some other Blood Wizard dude had some clips mid-credits that were pretty enjoyable, more enjoyable than Senn’s first Emerica shoe, which I remember sucking terribly.
Stay Gold was over rated, over hyped, but pretty damn good non-the-less. I’ll definitely be fighting my way through kids with Shake Junt griptape to try to pick up a DVD tomorrow, you should too.
In 2008 Pink Crack took a tour from NC to KY to FL and back.
Ron found a camera at Kona, he sent me some footage that he extracted from it. At one point Crappy eats an inch worm I find on my leg.
Good times.
Check out the footage from the tour I filmed and edited in parts here:
Pretty amazing stuff, seriously one of the best parts I’ve seen in a while. (VIMEO version up now with Original Music) I strongly encourage everyone to buy the new Skateboard mag which includes a DVD of Dylans part with some bonus.

A Quartersnacks look into Dylan’s part here
I am so unbelievably stoked on this!
Etnies coming in hot with an amazing recreation of the World park and early 90′s gear/filming etc, with killer cameos from Kareem among others. Rojo with a MNC shirt? Mikey Taylor making sure he broke out the Spectrum board?
This is amazing and puts that hot-topic, wrist band/bandana Blackbox shit to shame.
Big ups to Adidas also, that was pretty sick as well.
Been hanging out with these dudes.
